Launch
Rivia Technologies Ltd was incorporated in Ghana on 21st March 2024. The same month, Theresa's Clinic became Rivia's first clinic location - the first building block of what would become a chain across Ghana.
Expansion
The second Rivia franchise clinic opens in Koforidua, Eastern Region - Rivia's first location outside Accra and proof that the model could scale beyond the capital.
Acquisition & Partnership
Rivia Technologies acquires Waffle, a SaaS startup that provides a platform for managing healthcare operations, Victor becomes CTO and Co founder
Flagship
Rivia opens its first company-owned flagship clinic in Dzorwulu, Accra - a full multi-specialty location setting the clinical and experience standard for every Rivia clinic that follows.
Recognition
Rivia Technologies CEO and co-founder Isidore Kpotufe is recognised as Ghana's Most Outstanding Start-up CEO, putting Rivia Clinics firmly on the national innovation and healthcare reform agenda.
Launch & Partnership
Rivia officially launches the RiviaCare employer membership programme - later rebranded as Rivia Access. In the same month, Skin Gourmet becomes the first employer to enrol their team under the programme, proving the business membership model.
Flagship
Rivia opens its second company-owned flagship clinic, bringing the premium in-house clinical experience to a second major Accra location and cementing the chain's growth across the city.
