How to use your membership
Using your Rivia Clinics membership is simple.
Walk into any Rivia Clinics location
Visit any clinic in the Rivia Clinics chain. No booking required for most visits.
Show your Rivia card at reception
Your card identifies you as a member. No cash needed at the desk.
See the doctor and get treated
The doctor will examine you and order whatever you need. Everything they prescribe is paid for by your Care Value.
What is and isn't included
Your Care Value covers getting you better when you are sick. It does not cover general wellness or things you request yourself.
- ✓Doctor visits, specialist care, lab tests and medications — when the Rivia Clinics doctor orders them.
- ✓Dental, eye care, mental health and women's health — at Rivia Clinics locations that offer these.
- ✓Free virtual care by phone, WhatsApp or video — for all members, at no extra cost.
- ✕Tests or medicines you ask for yourself, without the doctor recommending them.
- ✕Routine check-ups, vitamins, supplements or beauty treatments.
- ✕Going to a clinic outside the Rivia Clinics chain without a referral — you pay that bill yourself.

You can speak to a Rivia Clinics doctor without visiting the clinic. It's free, fast, and available all year.

What to do in an emergency
In a life-threatening emergency, go straight to hospital. Do not call Rivia Clinics first.
Go to the nearest Emergency Room immediately if you have: chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, severe injury or poisoning.
