When your facility joins the Rivia chain, you do not simply get a referral arrangement or a co-branding deal. You operate as a Rivia Clinic. That means adopting our clinical standards, our technology platform, our patient experience protocols, and our brand — fully. In return, you get everything we have built: corporate patient volume, technology infrastructure, vendor relationships, financing access, and management support. This is a full operating model, not a partnership programme.

How to join the chain

Two paths in.

Whether you have an existing facility or you want to build from the ground up, there is a structured path for you. Both routes require meeting our standards. Both result in the same outcome: a fully operating Rivia Clinic.

Convert your existing facility
If you own or manage a clinic or hospital that meets our criteria, you can convert it into a Rivia Clinic. Your facility is assessed, gaps are addressed, and you transition onto the Rivia operating model. You may self-manage under our standards or engage a Rivia-approved operator to manage on your behalf.

Minimum requirements

What we look
for in a facility.

Approval is not automatic. Every facility is assessed against a defined set of criteria before being accepted onto the chain. Support may be available for facilities that are close to meeting requirements but need structured assistance to close gaps.

Please note: Meeting these requirements is a baseline, not a guarantee of approval. Rivia Clinics reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.
Leadership that is open to operating under the Rivia model
Accessible location with good road and public transport links
Up-to-date HEFRA licence, clear of legal claims
General services with in-house lab and pharmacy
At least one specialist service — eye, dental, OBS/GYN, Paediatrics or Mental Health
No need for major structural upgrade — interior and exterior must be welcoming
Good reviews from past and current patients
Agreement to operate on a fixed fee per patient model
Minimum of 5 beds
Operating hours of at least 12 hours daily — 24 hours preferred

Would I lose my independence?
That depends on what you mean by independence. You retain ownership of your facility — the asset is yours. What you agree to is operating under the Rivia clinical standards, technology platform, and patient experience model. You are no longer operating as an independent clinic — you are operating as a Rivia Clinic. For owners who want to remain clinically focused while having the business side professionally managed, that is not a loss — it is a significant upgrade. For owners who want complete operational autonomy, this model is likely not the right fit.
How will my facility be branded?
Your facility will operate under the Rivia Clinics brand. Signage, digital presence, patient-facing communications, and staff uniforms will all carry the Rivia identity. Your facility name may be retained as a location identifier — for example, Rivia Clinics Dzorwulu — but the primary brand the patient sees and trusts is Rivia. This is non-negotiable. The brand is the product, and consistency across every location is what makes it worth carrying.
Can I invest in starting a clinic from the ground up?
Yes. If you have capital and a suitable location in mind, Rivia Clinics can work with you to establish a new clinic from scratch. You provide the investment and the location. Rivia provides the operating model, technology, brand, clinical framework, and management infrastructure. The facility is built to Rivia standards from day one — there is no conversion phase. This path is available to individual investors, family offices, and institutional capital with an interest in healthcare.
